Today on the blog, I’m sharing my favorite places all around Boston. I’ve fallen in love with this city during my 5 years here, and it will forever have a special place in my heart!

1. The Boston Public Library

This place is so so beautiful. The old marble staircases and lions are beautiful. I love sitting down in the study space with the classic green lights on a weekend afternoon to get some work though. Just remember it’ll be totally silent though haha! There is also a beautiful courtyard for the nicer days.

2. The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

This place is truly magical and one of the most unique museums I have ever been to. I love the history behind it and the thought that Isabella put into creating and organizing her collection. There is courtyard here as well. I always bring my friends here when they visit and everyone loves it! It’s amazing to me that’s just down the street from my home!

3. Faneuil Hall

This is the perfect place to walk around and get a little taste of everything. You can spend some time looking around and shopping before stopping in Quincy Market for some lunch. s an is a whole variety of food including lobster mac and cheese or lobster roll and cannolis! It’s also a short walk over to the North End.

4. Boston Common and the Swan Boats

The Common and Esplanade are beautiful during the warmer months! They are right next to Newbury and Boylston St. too! It’s the perfect opportunity to take a walk and have a picnic. You can even rent a bike and ride around or rent a kayak on the Charles to see even more. In the winter, there is ice skating at the Frog Pond! The views are beautiful and it’s a nice way to put away the phone and just enjoy the city 🙂

5. TD Garden

TD Garden is always having fun events going on whether it’s a concert or a sports game. Definitely check out what’s going on and grab tickets for something fun. There are also some great places for a bite to eat or a drink before or after!

6. Seaport

Seaport is right by the Harbor and has some great restaurants and drinks as well. It’s really fun to walk around and sit by the water when it’s warmer. Definitely bring a jacket if you’re planning on sitting outside! It gets a little windy!

7. Boston Harbor Islands

There are boats that will take you island hopping in the Harbor. This is a fun way to get out of the city for a bit and see a different view! Check out the schedule online for all the details!

8. Lawn on D

The Lawn on D is always hopping with live music and drinks! It’s a great place to hang out on the weekend with friends. There is a whole schedule of who is playing and what’s going on every night so check that out before heading over!

9. Sam Adams or Harpoon Brewery

The pretzels at Harpoon are amazing and either is a great place to meet up with friends just to catch up or watch a game! The tours are really fun as well.

10. The Institute of Contemporary Art

This is another great museum to check out on days you might not want to be outside! It’s located in Seaport and perfect to add to your day in between exploring the area!
